Grading is where a well-shot film becomes the film you imagined. Correction first: matching shots, balancing exposure, fixing skin tones, painting out what should not be there, stabilising what moved. Then the grade itself, the colour decisions that set the mood of a scene and steer how an audience feels about it without them noticing.
We grade in DaVinci Resolve on calibrated monitors in our own suites at Underfall Yard, for our productions and for films shot elsewhere. The films below are ones where the grade did a lot of the work.
