Training Video Production

Scripted drama that changes what people do, not just what they know.

Some subjects cannot be taught with a slide deck: domestic abuse, coercive control, safeguarding, mental health at work. People learn them by being put inside a situation and asked what they would do. That is what drama is for, and it is the kind of film we have made more of than any other.

Our training dramas are written with the experts and survivors who know the subject, cast and shot like broadcast drama, and built into learning programmes with the supporting interviews and discussion material that make them usable. AXA's Safe Spaces programme, below, is the fullest example.

Why educational resource training videos?

“We approached Omni to produce three short films about parental conflict. The team were just brilliant to work with – so thoughtful around the casting and location, and really helpful in terms of script-editing. We (and importantly our client) are very happy with the films Omni has shot and edited.”
Richard Meier Project Manager, Tavistock Relationships
“It is a vital resource for trainers and practitioners to use to raise the issue of coercive control and abuse. I believe this will be a mainstay of DV training for many years to come.”
Dr Emma WIlliamson, Head of the Centre for Gender and Violence Research University of Bristol
“As a survivor of domestic violence I thought the film was so perfectly written and acted. It was like you were telling my story, so true to what happens in an abusive relationship.”
